Jim Cornette Experience: Inside the Porsches First Hand Experience
“I was the first guy in the car, so I was pretty close,” Cornette recalls of his first driving experience.
“I remember it was in the morning, I was like, ‘Hey, I’m here!’
So I walked up to the window, looked out, and it was pretty amazing.
And it was the only time I’ve ever seen the inside of a car, and I’m still amazed.
The fact that I was the last person in the front seat, and that was kind of a thrill.
And the way they were operating it, I remember thinking, ‘What are they doing there?'”
Cornette, who has appeared in documentaries like The Naked Truth and Inside Job, was also the driving instructor for the Pinsacola Grand Prix, the first Formula 1 race to be filmed in an outside-the-engine-room environment.
He recalls his experience in an exclusive interview with New York magazine’s Porsch magazine: “The only reason that I had a job was because I wanted to work with the Pines.
And that’s what it was like.
The Pines wanted me there.
They wanted me to have the best experience.”
Cornette recalls how he and fellow drivers, including Paul di Resta and Martin Brundle, were impressed by the Porsche’s new performance technology.
“The whole idea of how you drive a Porsche is to be a little bit in control, to be able to control the car,” he says.
“You have to be on the throttle and control the flow of the car.
It’s about making sure you’re able to move the car smoothly.
And if you can do that, then you can go pretty fast.
And so that’s why we put so much effort into this technology.”
The Porschers new, inside-the–engine–room experience comes after a similar experience in a Porsche Carrera GT.
“It was a very unique experience,” says Cornette.
“When I first drove the car I felt it was a little too big for me, but I was able to get away with it because I had so much confidence in myself.”
Corneau also shared his first-hand experience of driving the Porsche’s all-wheel-drive system.
“We were driving the car from New York to California, and one thing that was very exciting was to see how they were using it in the course of the race.
I was very impressed,” he adds.”

The Pinsacs’ racing program is just one example of the PORSCHES new-generation PSS cars, which debut in 2018.
“Porsche is very innovative,” says Porschelson.
“They’ve gone so far beyond just putting a car in front of you.
They’re really innovative and very fast. “
This is a great time to be at Porsche, so they’ve been building these cars.

The way they’re using it and the way the performance is there is very special.
And I think the drivers really appreciated that.””
I’m going to get back to the garage as soon as I can, because I think I’ve got the engine going,” says Paul di Martino, the P-series racing champion.
I know it’s not going to be the fastest car, but it’s going to go fast. “
