Why You Shouldn’t Listen to Kanye West’s ‘Blank Space’ Now
After releasing his album Blank Space last year, Kanye West took to Twitter to make a plea to fans to stop listening to his music.
“Blank space,” as his fans refer to the album, was released in May 2018 and features guest appearances from Drake, Rihanna, Chance the Rapper, and many other musicians.
But while the album featured some of West’s biggest hits, including “DNA,” “Gold Digger,” and “All Day,” there were some moments where the track seemed more focused on the production and production style of his peers.
Here are five things you need to know about Kanye West before you download and listen to the new album: 1.
The song “DNA” is an oddball.
While the album features plenty of hip-hop artists, West’s lyrics are pretty straight-up.
“DNA is the best album I ever made,” he says in the album’s opening line.
“This shit was all my friends.
This shit was my brother’s, my cousin’s, this shit was mine.”
However, the song was never intended to be a full album and instead served as a test run for West’s next album, Blüdhaven.
“I wanted to put some real music on the record.
It was a test of my voice and how I speak,” he told Rolling Stone in September.
“And I got this great response.
That was a great feeling.”
The record also features a guest appearance from Chance the Rap God.
In the track, Chance raps about how much he loves West, saying, “I feel like I’m the only person in the world that knows you and that’s why I’m here.”
West has since explained that the track was not intended to contain a diss track or diss track references.
“It was a song about how I’m just a little brother to him.
It’s like, this is my way of saying I’m a fan and I love his music,” he explained to Billboard.
“We just wanted to make an album and we were all like, ‘OK, let’s just get this shit out now.'”
Kanye West is a rapper.
He has made some of the biggest hits of his career, and while the fact that his music features a lot of hip hop artists is no secret, there is no denying that his style is unique.
His most recent album, 808s & Heartbreak, features guest artists from Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and Drake, among others.
He also recently released a song called “DNA.”
While many artists have released tracks with hip-hoppy production styles, West has done his own thing.
The album features guest contributions from Lil Wayne and Big Sean.
“Dope, Dre, and Young Thug all helped us put out a dope song,” he said of the album.
“That’s the reason we called it ‘DNA.'”
West has a lot more to say than just his music videos.
The man behind “I Am Kanye West” was born Kanye West.
His family moved from Queens, New York, to Los Angeles, California, where he attended UCLA.
“Kanye West is the most famous rapper in the history of the world,” West said in a statement to Rolling Stone.
“He is the greatest.
He’s one of the most revered.
I’ve had a long, successful career, but Kanye West remains the greatest.”
While the fact he’s been praised for his work on other projects, like “The Life of Pablo,” has been well received, West said that he is still “not a huge fan of the music industry.”
He said in an interview with The New Yorker that his new album was not meant to be an “album of art.”
“I didn’t know what I was doing.
It wasn’t supposed to be one album,” he recalled.
“But I did want to get back to the stuff that I loved.
And I don’t really care about that anymore.
I don the money.”
West is not just a hip-bopper.
In 2015, he released a video for “I Got a Story,” an all-star rap collaboration between Drake and Eminem.
While Drake is known for his rapping skills, West was one of his biggest fans and his track “DNA was one I had to listen to.”
West said the song helped him overcome depression and helped him make peace with his sexuality.
“You can tell that Kanye is really into me and I was into him,” he shared in the video.
“Just like I said, I got a story.
I got to tell it to the world.
And this is why I wrote this.
This is why people listen to me and love me.
This was the beginning of me becoming a father figure to other kids.”
The song is still trending on YouTube, so West is no stranger to YouTube.
“There is nothing that can prepare you for Kanye West,” he previously told Rolling Stones.
“Nothing. And when
